Account and Data Deletion

How to request deletion of your OgbDrive account and associated app data.

Applies to: OgbDrive user accounts, driver accounts, profiles, bookings, driver verification records, notifications, support records, and related app data.

1. Delete Your Account in the App

If you can access your OgbDrive account, use the in-app deletion path:

  1. Open OgbDrive and sign in.
  2. Go to your dashboard.
  3. Open Profile or Account.
  4. Select Delete Account.
  5. Follow the confirmation instructions shown in the app.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access your account, you can request account deletion by emailing us.

Subject line: OgbDrive Account Deletion Request

Include the following information so we can find and verify your account:

  • Your full name.
  • Your registered email address.
  • Your registered phone number.
  • Whether the account is a user account, driver account, or both.
  • A short statement saying: "Please delete my OgbDrive account and associated app data."

3. What We Delete

When an account deletion request is verified and processed, OgbDrive attempts to delete or remove access to account data associated with your profile, including where applicable:

  • Account profile, role, contact details, profile photo, and authentication record.
  • User bookings, booking-related support tickets, messages, ticket attachments, and notifications.
  • Driver profile, driver documents, vehicle records, service areas, driver notification preferences, job records, and driver availability records.
  • Push notification subscriptions, user preferences, sessions, referrals, referral rewards, and related user events.
  • Wallet/credit records and payment transaction records where deletion is legally and operationally allowed.

4. Data We May Need to Keep

Some data may be retained for a limited period or longer where required or permitted for legitimate reasons, including:

  • Legal, tax, accounting, audit, payment, chargeback, refund, or dispute records.
  • Fraud prevention, safety investigations, misuse prevention, and security logs.
  • Records needed to comply with law enforcement, regulator, court, payment provider, or insurance-related requests.
  • Backups and logs that are deleted according to our normal retention and security schedules.

5. Processing Time

We aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days after receiving enough information to verify the account owner. Complex requests, safety reviews, payment disputes, or legally required retention may take longer.

6. Important Notes

  • Account deletion is permanent and may remove access to bookings, driver verification records, wallet/credits, documents, and support history.
  • Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your OgbDrive account.
  • Clearing browser storage does not delete your OgbDrive account.
  • We may ask for verification before processing a deletion request to protect accounts from unauthorized deletion.
