How Driver Onboarding Works
Driver approval is a review process. Submitting an application does not automatically guarantee approval.
Create Driver Account
Sign up with your email, verify with OTP, and complete your driver profile.
Add Personal Details
Provide your name, phone number, photo, identification details, and other required profile information.
Add Vehicle Details
Enter your vehicle type, plate number, make, model, colour, and service category information.
Upload Documents
Submit driver and vehicle documents required for review. Requirements may differ by vehicle type.
Complete Checks
Some vehicles may require inspection. Where inspection payment applies, the app will guide you.
Get Approved
After approval, select service areas, fund credits where required, go online, and receive eligible jobs.

Riders pay the accepted driver directly using the agreed payment method for the booking.

Approved drivers can choose supported service areas where they want to receive eligible jobs.
Driver Credits
Credits help drivers access or accept eligible jobs. Some qualifying jobs may not deduct credit based on OgbDrive rules.
Referral Bonus
Drivers may earn bonus credits when referred drivers sign up successfully and meet referral requirements.

Drivers may receive job alerts through in-app notifications, email, or WhatsApp where enabled and verified.

Does registration guarantee approval?+
No. OgbDrive reviews each driver profile, documents, vehicle details, and inspection status before approval.
Is inspection payment required?+
Some vehicles may require inspection before approval. Where inspection payment applies, drivers will be guided in the app. Payment does not guarantee approval if requirements are not met.
How do drivers get paid?+
Riders pay the accepted driver directly using the agreed payment method for the booking. OgbDrive does not collect the rider fare directly for these bookings.
Do drivers need credits?+
Drivers may need credits to access or accept eligible jobs. Credit use may depend on the service, trip value, distance, or OgbDrive rules.
Are credits deducted for every job?+
Not always. Some qualifying trips around certain thresholds may not deduct credit. The driver dashboard should show the applicable rule where required.
Can I earn referral credit?+
Drivers may receive bonus credit when a referred driver signs up successfully and meets OgbDrive referral requirements.
